The Big 50th Reunion
May or June 2019

The 45th Reunion was held in Greenbelt on Saturday May 3, 2014

THANKS TO ALL WHO DID ATTEND. Everyone was polite, understanding and considerate. What else would expect from our class ??
This page should have all the reviews, photos and videos. If it does not have YOURS, then submit to: wildcat1969@verizon.net

Having a classmate who is a PROFESSIONAL RADIO CELEBRITY went a long way toward providing Quality Entertainment. There was also a live band and classmates were welcome to join the band to play certain parts or sing.

The Hilton Garden Inn of Greenbelt offered acceptable food and drink for a most splendid evening.

The entry ticket provided 1 free drink at the bar between 6PM - 7PM, after that was cash bar until 11PM.
The cost per person for the reunion was $75.00. Rooms at the hotel were obviously a separate cost.

There were recognition gifts and door prizes. (we only have video of the door prizes)

Live Music was provided by Classmates

Sam Salamy, second from left, agreed to bring members of his band - "Cover Story".

Since we know there are other talented musicians from our class, they (You) were encouraged to participate in certain songs.

There WERE some other musicians who played and sang at the reunion. Click here to see the BAND.

Prior to the Reunion, there was to be a golf tournament on Saturday but no one participated.

No one signed up for golf, by contacting Winship Wheatley at winshipwheatley@msn.com

There was also a Hangover Recovery Breakfast in the hotel for those who woke up in time. The hotel charged $10 for all you can eat and the food was delicious.

Some Classmates arrived Friday evening and went to Ledo.

We also had a link for How To Survive a Reunion . It is a video clip and it is humorous.

The original announcement was made almost a year in advance so that classmates could arrange their schedules or make travel arrangements. The organizing committee was willing to assist those who fly in to area airports by either suggesting methods of ground transportation or actually providing ground transport under certain constraints.

The address for the Reunion at Hilton Gardens Inn Greenbelt was: 7810 Walker Drive, Greenbelt, MD 20770

If you want to see pictures of those who came to the reunion, click on their name listed below. (Sorry, we missed a few photos.)

Speaking of SHARING COMMENTS, . .

CLICK HERE for a YouTube clip of a Northwestern Football Game from 1967 submitted by Dona Turner.

Thank you, Dona, for sharing that link so that we can all see how it looked back when we attended high school. It sure looks better back then. Below is yet another example of the type of entertainment we enjoyed at the reunion.
If you have some other photos you want posted on this site, then send them via email as an attachment.
