REVIEW of the winter trip to a ski resort & other stuff in 2016

How many 1969 Wildcats like to ski or ride snowboards? We will never know unless we schedule some trips.
Bob Weber lives in Utah near a ski resort. He has a Season Pass. He also goes to ski in Colorado. If you want to link up with the 69 Wildcats who like to ski or snowboard, contact Bob at wildcat1969 (at) verizon.net or Paul Johnson at pjohnson (at) cpja.com at pjohnson (at) cpja.com

Brian Head is a ski area fairly close to Las Vegas. It is a small winter resort with pretty low prices. It has wonderful terrain and usually has plenty of snow for great conditions. Click HERE to learn more about the area.

Here is another online video clip to explain the local area and other trip ideas:

Bob went skiing with his brother, Jeff and his family, over the MLK weekend at Beaver Creek, Colorado, which is a very popular winter resort. It is located between Vail and Aspen. It hosts a World Cup Downhill race annually and has superb grooming.

Here is a video clip from the two ski trips combined into one:

See if you find Paul Johnson in that clip, . . . . .

If not, then here is a more detailed video clip of Paul skiing at Breckenridge:

The PROPOSAL presented below is based upon several ski trips by Northwestern grads over the years. We know the rockies are a great place for good snow. The facilities are more than adequate and most importantly, attendees can have a great time.

Here is a link to the Beaver Creek site. On the main page, they have a links to all kinds of winter activities (or summer if you visit their site then). The concept is to meet up and ski or snowboard. There is NO Deadline because anyone going has to make their own reservations. We can go to another hotel, or if not enough people sign up, we could still have a smaller gathering at a restaurant. We can also meet at someone's house or condo if they don't mind hosting a party.

It all depends upon the numbers and your feedback to determine the interest.

Here are some of the challenges in scheduling anything at Beaver Creek: ($$$$$$$)

Please notice that if Beaver Creek is too pricey for your budget, we have an alternate site at Brian Head, Utah.
That is on our schedule for the entire months of January, February and March because that is where a certain Wildcat (last name: Weber) has a season pass.

ANY type of skiing or snowboarding will cost money. $50.00 per person is probably the minimum possible for just the lift ticket itself. Transportation, hotel rooms, other meals or items like renting equipment would obviously cost more. There is NO deadline, because we doubt enough people will show up. So far, it is just a SUGGESTION to come out and enjoy some winter recreation. Some wildcats will be there anyway, so you are certainly welcome to join in.

The whole point of this web site is to determine what kind of interest there might be for such events.

This is where it all comes down to YOU. - Nothing, . . and we mean nothing, can happen unless we get some feedback.
If Breckenridge, Beaver Creek or Brian Head have no appeal for you, then fine. . . Ignore this page and look for another event you might attend.

ALL correspondence has to be done via email. Sorry, but phone calls are just so outdated.

Below are some photos and YouTube clips of having fun in Beaver Creek or at Brian Head.

We want photos or videos of YOU having fun at WINTER RESORTS.

If you have some pictures, then send them via email as an attachment.
